Well, I'm still new here but I was just wondering what made you ultimately decide to go with a Landy - maybe it will help me to get to know you all better too!

Anyway, hopefully the poll up there works so I look forward to hearing from you

I bought A Landy due to the unmatched strength and character of rover vehicles. Sure some may be better on road and cost less to repair. But In my opinon nothing compares with rover not jeeps, toyota's or any other 4x4. Jeep have small frames and bodies. My dad had a jeep grand cherokee he sliped and fell on a jeep door it dented like plastic. Toyota's are over rated they are robust and strong and may be somewhat more realiable however when compared to a rover it just doesn't match I seen a cruiser frame and a defender frame from what i saw the rover frame is more stout and thicker than the toyota frame. That's what rovers are well known for extremely stout frames and suspensions plus I hate fact that toyota owners are always bashing rovers I think that rovers are superior in many ways who give's a damn about factory lockers that doesn't mean **** it's all about the driver I was off roading with a good friend he was in a FJ-80 cruiser and I was in my Disco1 He said swore up and down that I couldn't go where his cruiser could I just nodded my head in response we go off road i engage in 4wd low with diff lock and my discovery went everywhere his yota did without strain plus my disco is stock for right now. so there you have That's why I bought a landy they are extremely strong well bulit regardless of what people say and just a pleasure to drive I wouldn't trade my disco for **** Rovers are thebest4x4xfar and always will be.

Reputation hands down. They're just a well put together vehicle. Most vehicles sound like they're falling apart after 7 years, but not mine. Needs some work of course, but I love it.
