My 96 disco shows a code for coolant temp reading low and the system is in closed loop.Any ideas on why the engine may be running cold It failed NOX smog big time. My $35 scanner off ebay cleared the codes and that could save guys money.

NAS Disco's are notorious for running cold due to bad thermostats. NOX is typically due to high combustion temps. Nor sure for BC ?

I replaced the thermostat and it still runs cool but the low coolant temp code is cleared so I ran the truck through air care and it was slightly better but failed Any ideas. They want me to pay $1500 to have new cats put in
