DFW Get Together! Saturday 2-25-06

Well, I'm going to east Texas in either the Freelander or the LR3 this weekend and I'd like to meet up with at least one of y'all.

While I'm there, I need to stop at Overseas and Dallas Mustang to pick up some parts. Maybe we can meet at one of those?

Case in point, we need some group pictures of a couple Rovers.

Landzu? Are you busy on Saturday?

I plan on leaving Midland at about 7 that morning and making into Fort Worth 11:30 or 12ish. Call me if you want to meet up.

Dr. John? Are you busy on Saturday?

A good picture place would be in the south parking lot at Ameriquest with the ball park behind us.

ill go if we can all get drunk as hell and go off raoding, and animal shooting, then lets go to town and pick up some filthy dirty hoes, and never call them again.

I'll supply the beer and dirty women. Last time i was in dallas i was arrested for public intox/urination. I then proceeded to yell racial slurs to the mexicans and told the Dallas police that "yo no hablo espanol" bc they were latin. They did not like that at all. I hardly saw anyone outside of the bars that wasnt a mexican. so i was under the impression that every one in texas didnt speak english and was in fact mexican. That is what lots of alcohol will doto you. Lesson learned is not over drink when you are a loud mouthed "Son of the conedereacy" when you are not where you need to be.

too bad Texas isn't it's own country still. from what i understand, we were never legally admitted into the union so we can seperate but i'm not gonna cry about it.

I met up with Mike (Landzu) at Dealey Plaza Saturday at about 12:30. We saw where Kennedy was assassinated. I took some pictures and he made fun of my Sony camera. LOL.

We got some pics of the Rovers and The Grassy Knoll.

Mike taught me how to get away from a beggar. (thanks!) and he loaned me $1 for parking. It costed 5$ and all i had was $144. So I used my 4 ones and one of his (once again, thanks!).

I'll have the pics up soon!

I learned how he came up with the name Landzu also, it has to do with people mistaking his former Isuzu for a Land Rover.

Sweet, It's always fun meeting up with people you don't even know. Good to have friends from other places too. So when are you coming to Durango/Farmington James? We need to get out in the snow and play, its quite fun.

get your 40oz what to do!
And I told you the cops wouldn't catch us driving
in the high water in the drainage ditches.

I'm just glad the police didn't find my 12ga!

yeah, you were right, too bad we didn't get any pictures of that. remember when the water was higher than your hood? that was crazy!
