plugged tire - 2/26/2006 10:49:44 PM    Lilsallyan Posts: 14 Joined: 2/7/2006 Status: offline I just had a nail removed from my back tire and the mechanic plugged it. He told me I would have to buy a new tire because the plug wouldn't hold. The nail wasn't in the side wall of the tire or anything it was in the middle. Should I put the full size spare on and use the plugged tire as the spare? Will the plugged tire hold up? Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
