I have a 95' Classic with OEM Air Suspension and it has worked fine for months. Does anyone know what it means when the air level lights flash and then stay on.
The compressor still runs and cycles off, however it will not lower, it seems as if it is stuck in trailer mode. How is this system reset?

Sounds to me like you need some diagnostics , need to find a LR dealer to do this , it sounds like you have a faulty hight sensor or some sticking corner valves , just got onto this site so am goin through some of the simple stuff first ,so get to a dealer and have the codes checked out .

hey i had the same trouble and i found that one of the height sensors came loose just above the tire needed to be replaced. found out how much it was going to cost and put on springs for just under 800 dollars u can cut of the the system just look under the pass. seat and u will see a big switch like a light switch just turn it off. cause if u keep driving like that it could go down on the bump stops. but it seems that u have only 1 fault if u get 2 that system will shut down and lower to the bump stops and that is not a fun ride.if u like the air ride i go to the dealer and get it fixed but bring the savings account cause its not cheap!

lol, yea I spent 1200 bucks to replace all 4 bags on mine (OEM) then another 85 to get the dealer to restart the system

Well after all the bad luck stories , go have someone run a test book on it to know for sure, then look at your options, repair or convert to springs.

Our 2000 disco 2 has been losing air out of the right rear for about 3 months. It only happens occasionally and seems to happen most when we are carrying a load or will sometimes loose air as it sits in the driveway at night. I've heard air leaking after we exit the vihicle and felt for a leak around the boot, but unable to find it for sure. Could this be a sensor issue or a leaking boot. Local dealership is a pain in the ... when it comes to asking for some help and they are very $. If it is the boot, is it something that can be replaced at home, or does it need special equipment or tools? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dragon

Sounds like you have the same problem I have, one bag leaking.
I am replacing mine this month with new ones from one of the sites sponsers in Florida. They sell a replacement bag that is far better then the factory bag, $180 apiece, less then the dealre and comes with a lifetime warranty.
Takes all of 1/2 hour to replace the pair.

Mike, any idea what is involved in the replacement, or is there somewhere to look for that info?

The air bags are real easy to replace, need to jack up the rear of the truck, let the air out of the bads, I go to the control unit under the drivers seat on the frame, and loosen the 2 air hose, this will cause the bags to go flat. There are clips on the top of the bad that need to be removed, most people buy new ones in case they break, the base of the air bag is then removed and you but the new ones on.
You might check with Arnott and see if they have any instructions.
