STi NUt -> Discovery 3 No limits! (3/12/2006 1:12:40 AM)

Hey,

I have a 2005 Discovery 3 V8, I am wanting to increase the engine performance at any coast. No one in Australia is willing to supercharge it that i have asked so I want a few ideas. I have already put in a twin full length exhaust system but I want to have a bit more.

Thanks

ATI procharger is your best bet. They are always really helpful when you are trying to do something that has not or has rarely been done. Anyway, just make sure you 1. dont skimp on an intercooling system. 2. You get something  with  low boost.

its easy to get excited on increasing HP, its easier to blow rings, f-up pistons and rods on an engine that isnt made for what you are trying to do. Take your time and you will get it right.

with a supercharger, you will have to get reprogram your ecu or chip the car to fit the supercharger anyway... just so you dont double dip.

Hope this helps

I can't verify this nor do i really trust the web site, but i found this site that is "working on" a supercharger for the 4.4 AJV8. I don't customize my cars so I'm not sure but if you're desperate...
