Hello my name is Peter. ljust bought a 2000 Range rover county..........I love the car.... but there is some thing ALWAYS going on with it .The rover has 60k on it..It just got back from the dealer for a check engin light. I was the k@n filter that l put in .The filter was leaning the car out. So i had to go back to a paper filter. But now there is coolant that is missing.I have know clue where it is going. In alway topping off the rezavor. But today ,,,as im was going to the store. l notice coolant on the pasanger mud flap. There is no way the coolant is over flowing l didnt even drive it yet.. but there is a tube in the bottom of the rezavor that its coming out of.....It dosnt leak when the car is running just when its park...what is that tube? What it for...i need your help...................

Here are some of the possible reasons why coolant leak: Coolant leaks often occur at the water pump shaft seal, it might be a blown head gasket, leaking water pump, radiator, heater core, hose.. i suggest that have it checked to avoid future problem.

I had a simular problem with my 98 RR. The coolant is either coming from the heater core rings or the heater cord it self. I took my truck to the dealer and told them that the heater core was bad and they only replaced the rings. The following week I had the same leak and the dealer replaced the heater core after my warrenty company came out to the dealership.
Heater Core, Heater Core, Heater Core!!!

passenger front mudflap not the core ring, try coolant resovoir and cap. Passenger running board rear is o ring usually out the front of the back door and sits around and floods the Becm under the passenger seat. 1800 dollar part so get it fixed if that is it now or as the visa commercial says it could get PRICELESS

To be on the safe side, have a shop presurize the coolant system to find the exact point of the leakage, then get it fixed.
